By the way, the house in the picture actually exists. It is located in Herzberg (Elster) in the botanical garden and is called the "old manufacturer's villa". It has been empty for many years and seems downright enchanted. In autumn, with the colorful leaves flying through the air and lying in heaps on the ground around the mansion, so many little witches would surely have been happily occupied. I painted the picture in a mixed technique of gouache and drawing ink.
