The Sun is one of the most positive and uplifting cards in the Tarot. It represents clarity, joy, hope, vitality and the moment when light returns after even the darkest night.

My interpretation of this card features a white dragon, symbolising purity, inner strength and the courage to follow your own light. Above the dragon, the sun appears as a warm and protective face, filling the scene with brightness and life. Small fish accompany the dragon through the water, representing playfulness, curiosity and the simple joy of discovering life with an open heart.

Like every card in my Tarot series, The Sun began as a hand-painted original. After the painting was completed, the artwork was carefully prepared for print. Delicate ornamental details were finished with shimmering gold foil, allowing the card to catch the light beautifully from different angles.
