This autumn-themed art postcard features my hand-painted watercolor illustration “Dormouse” — a peaceful woodland scene filled with warm autumn colors and cozy forest atmosphere.

The motif shows a sleeping dormouse curled up among glowing fall leaves in soft shades of red, brown and golden orange. Inspired by quiet moments in nature and the calm stillness of autumn before winter arrives, this illustration captures a feeling of warmth, rest and comfort.

The dormouse belongs to the gliridae family, a group of squirrel-like nocturnal animals, and is known for its especially long hibernation period — often from late September until early May.

The original artwork was painted by hand using watercolor. The postcard was printed in a small edition in Berlin on high-quality FSC-certified cardstock.
